Who we are

Attain Digital Ltd, company number 13217646, registered in England, is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. You can contact us at hello@attaindigital.co.

What we collect

When you apply for a role, we collect your name, email address, mobile number, the city or province you live in, your answers to our application questions (including your work experience and the hourly rate you're looking for), and any link you choose to share.

We also collect basic technical data (IP address, browser, pages viewed) through our website and advertising tools, so we can see how people find our job adverts.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

To consider your application and contact you about it: your consent, which you give when you tick the box on our form and can withdraw at any time.
To take steps towards working together if you're shortlisted, such as a call or a paid trial task: steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract.
To measure and improve our job adverts: our legitimate interests.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data or pass it to anyone else for their own use. It is held by the suppliers that run our systems: our website host (Vercel), our database (Supabase), our CRM (GoHighLevel) and, for measuring adverts, Meta. Some of these suppliers store data outside South Africa and the UK, under their own data protection safeguards.

How long we keep it

If you're not taken forward, we keep your application for up to 12 months in case a suitable role comes up, then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

Your rights

You have the right to access the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to how we use it, and to withdraw your consent at any time. This applies whether you're protected by South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) or by UK GDPR. To use any of these rights, email hello@attaindigital.co and we'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to South Africa's Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za) or the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
